and from what I see he shaves the back and left side and leaves a big fringe in front. I was wondering how i could cut my hair with a normal hair clipper without having a full buzz cut, but just a little hair growing like he has in the pic.

go to a good hair stylist, and show them the pic and they can do it.

Can you link me to pictures of the style? Or, just a name would work & I can google around to find it myself

My son is 1 and he just got a hair cut with some clippers and his father is really upset.
I think he wanted to take him to his barber. But He’s (the father ) is never around and if I didnt get his hair cut then i’ll be up early in the moring trying to get my son and daughter’s hair combed for school. I think that you should’nt cut your child’s hair before the age of one. Personally I dont think he have a say on what I do with my child because he dont take care of him and my son dont know him. So F*** him.

my son got his first hair cut at one also…i think a lot of the important milestones happen at one. he’s still a baby but no longer an infant, his dad will get over it eventually…he’s probably just not ready for him to grow up yet )

The question is ambiguous. If hair is 4 inches long it can be cut to any length with clippers as readily as if it were one inch long. If the desire is to have 4 inch long hair after being cut with clippers, then the clipper over comb or finger technique must be used.

he is 5 months old and is easy to handle until hair cutting time he loves baths why cant the grooming be so easy??

It is always a good idea with breeds that needs professional grooming to get them used to the sound and feel of clippers, table and scissors at a very young age. I would turn on my clippers and rub the grips (not the blades, just the part where the groomer holds on to them) over puppies to get them used to the vibrations from the age of 8 weeks on up. Play with the coat on his face, holding on to it gently while distracting the pup. Brush daily, handle the feet, not letting go until the pup stops struggling.

Some groomers specialize in puppy handling, so see if you can find one.

i like my hair long and curly and i dont like it short. everytime i get a haircut i think its too short. so is there anything bigger than a size 8 clipper guard??
