A step by step on how to do some cool special effects makeup
1. Make sure to prepare own or voluntary body
2. Have makeup on hand or within reach at all times never worry about neatness or anything you will get bloody
3. Ok first off prepare by adding a dark base for bruising some brown and black basic Halloween or cosmetology makeup will do fine if were going to make cuts there must be some basic bruising and damage to the skin
4. Apply adhesive when skin is damaged it looses blood and heat and becomes cold and hard and scabbing we need to imitate that scenario rubber cement works wonders as long as you shave down any body part you are working on free of hair or fuzz don’t worry its not harmful nor poisonous just be smart
5. After applying adhesive take finger and rub sections of the adhesive so that it builds up around the edges so we can imitate and make it look like the cut is deeper than it appears
6. apply even darker base color within the area you rubbed out so that it may appear deeper
7. Now apply thick texture red makeup along the rubbed out area so we can increase the effect of your skin splitting outwards after it has been lacerated make sure to dab the makeup not rub so that way its spiking out i suggest using red cake icing because its cheap effective and people may want to make cuts around the face or mouth and its always good to use edible ingredients for safety precautions
8. After applying thick makeup rub out the edges of it not the entirety just so it can blend in with the natural level and surface of the skin
9. Now its time to use blood again its good to use edible ingrediants but to make it look real too i suggest simple kitchen items red food coloring and corn syrup and a little bit of water but NOT too much or else it will not stick if you want to make the blood look darker to give it more realism make sure to add a LITTLE bit of black food coloring some chocolate syrup maple syrup or molasses dont add them all itll look terrible and smell terrible
10. You now added the blood but to those that watered down the blood a lil bit you may notice it running a lil bit and not all of it is sticking thats ok just keep adding some more and as your doing it mix your thick red makeup with it and it will work out fine
11. Your now done but its never bad or too much to touch it up and make it look better and remember the video may be showing someones back but this can be used anywhere on the body and if you follow these directions and imitate what it looks like on the video you should be fine

I get so frustrated — I’ve seen more dogs groomed so badly by pet groomers (yes, some pet groomers are wonderful, but I see what the bad ones do).
It runs the gamut from a yorkie who went to the groomers with matt free long hair and instructions for a "trim". She came back shaved to the skin. Her face had fur, but it was so unevenly done, she was brought to be to correct it.
I’ve seen schnauzers with eyebrows and beards cut almost off. I’ve also had dogs brought to me where the pet groomer said they knew how to strip coats and they just shaved them instead. It takes a year at least to correct this.
Needless to say, many breeds are shaved down to the skin – while a puppy cut (2-3" of fur) can be a good cool cut for a pet while not jeperdizing the integrety of the guard hairs nor causing overgrowth of undercoat, the shaving to the skin of double coated dogs is just the worst thing one can do. And yet I’ve overheard groomers touting this as a good thing to do.
I understand that some owners will request bizarre and incorrect cuts. That’s life. But these are owners who were quite specific about what they wanted (a trim, a show stripping, etc.) and got back a very wrong groom.
I just can’t understand why somebody would say they know how to do things they don’t, or cut off eyebrows/beard on a breed who’s main characteristic is these things? What’s going on?
Absolutely — I do all my own grooming on my own dogs. While grooming is not my "business" per se, I show groom for myself as well as my show clients and neighbors who come bearing dogs with ugly grooms they want me to fix! As the t-shirt says "I don’t do miracles and God don’t groom dogs!"
One of the main reason why I groom at home, and will continue to groom my own dogs when I get a longer haired dog. I really can’t stand some of the butchered cuts dogs come home with. I mean puppy cut is one thing and I am fine with those but to shave to the skin is just ugly. I hate those lion cuts. I do however like the extreme grooming when its a good job. If you say you know how to strip you better dam well strip the dog if I ask for stripping. Shaving a dog that is stripped traditionally is not a good thing. I would not pay them for a whack job.
Alot of groomers are cocky which I can’t stand. I don’t think I will ever go to a groomers, not when I know how to groom my own dogs.
