Ok this all started before I was born. My mom and dad were friends with this couple that lived in New Jersey next door to them. My mom went to high school with the women and my dad went to high school with the man. They were best friends until my dad got his big break in Hollywood producing a movie with Tom Cruise and my parents moved to L.A that's when they had my brother. They still kept in touch with the couple from New Jersey and they came to visit my brother when he was born in June. They already had a son and the woman was due for another in 2 months. She decided she wanted my mom to be there for his birth so they stayed in L.A the whole summer. When the boy was born the women asked my mom and dad to be the god parents and of course they said yes. The boys name was Joseph. The family from New Jersey bought a house in L.A and would visit every time they had a vacation. The next year I was born and the couple brought their sons to come see me. They were named my god parents and they visited us all the time. As I grew older I became best friends with the boy Joseph, we would play every day when he would come to L.A. His brother Nicholas was born one year after me and I was friends with him too. As I got older I realized that I started to like Joseph. I was too scared to tell him so I would tell Nicholas; I could tell him anything he was so sensitive and would always listen. One day when I was 10, I was sitting on the couch at Joseph's house watching TV with him and his mom came and told us that she was going to get her hair cut and was bringing Nicholas. We said ok, little did I know my life was about to change forever. When they got home she said that a man with Columbian records heard Nicholas singing when they were at the barber shop and signed him for a record deal. When I got home that night my dad said he had just gotten a huge production deal and would be busy for the next few years so he found a school for me and my brothers and sisters to go to in Canada where we could grow up like normal kids. Later Joe called me and told me that the man from Columbian records had signed him and his brother Kevin as well and they were going on a tour opening for some band. Before Joseph left he gave me a necklace that was half a heart. On the heart it said LOVE, he told me that he had the other half and it said TRUE. I was so sad that he was leaving. He said that we would always be best friends. Once we moved to Canada with my mom I began to see less and less of my dad. He felt guilty about not being there so he would buy me things. Eventually I didn't even care anymore. I got everything I wanted and became spoiled and didn't have many friends except for Kathryn and Alyson. I eventually forgot about Joseph and we lost contact but I still wear the necklace he gave me every day.
