This is a series of stories talking about my life in the United Pentecostal Church. They will range from funny to serious. I hope to bring more clarity into a this culture and way of thinking. You also may learn some embarrassing things about me along the way.

In this video I talk about the strict gender rules and dress codes. I discuss how I felt about wearing skirts and the church’s idea of what being a female is to God.

The teachings of hair are mostly taken from 1 Corinthians 11. The UPCI believes that woman who do not cut their hair have more power from angels and men who have long hair are an abomination.

Hello on this Thursday, November 1, 2007. I’m Rebecca Field with a UPI entertainment update.

There may be some sparks between cycling star Lance Armstrong and actress Ashley Olsen. People magazine says the two met up a couple times this week in New York. Sources say they were very flirtatious at a hotel bar Monday night. They also apparently got together Wednesday night at a hip restaurant. Neither of their reps had any comment.

Actress Hilary Swank is donating her hair to a good cause. The actress let Oprah Winfrey chop her locks off on her show, set to air Friday. Winfrey reportedly cut off nine inches to put towards wigs for women who’ve lost their hair from cancer treatment. The actress says she’s been growing it and taking good care of it for months now and is glad it will go to someone in need.

Former N’Sync member Lance Bass is revealing his past secret marriage. The singer tells E! News he tied the knot on a crazy night in Las Vegas several years ago. He married a female friend of his… but it ended very shortly after. Bass came out publicly that he was gay last year.

Country music is ruling the charts. 3 country albums topped the Billboard 200 list this week. Former “American Idol” winner Carrie Underwood grabbed the number one spot with her release “Carnival Ride.” Robert Plant and Alison Krauss’s CD “Raising Sand” landed in second. And in third is Gary Allan’s “Living Hard.” It’s the first time the top three spots have been filled by country artists.

Celebrities got decked out in costumes last night for the annual Hulaween benefit gala. Actress Bette Midler organizes the event which benefits the New York Restoration Project. Fashion designer Michael Kohrs arrived dressed as Elton John. Celebrity chef Sandra Lee was there as well as actress Kari Whitman.

I first created Bobbie Leigh back in 2006. She’s been my favorite CAW ever since. Her look has always remained the same. Luckily they have kept her attire and hair style around, until now. They got rid of a lot of hair styles in this game including the hair she’s always had. So I had to give Bobbie a hair cut.

The CAW feature took some getting used to this year. With all clothes being 3D they can add inches to your wrestler’s figure, so if you give a female large breasts and then have her wear a shirt or jacket they become enormous. And since the game physics don’t believe in wonderbras they’ll be flapping around with no support.

Another good thing this year is that they freed up most of the finishing moves, so you can now assign them as regular moves so you now have a wider variety of moves to choose from.

Bobbie’s story is that she was an aspiring young country singer in Nashville and on her way to an audition she stopped by at a wrestling gym where her then boyfriend was trying out. She ended up trying out herself and fell in love with wrestling. Joining the league at age 19 she quickly rose in the ranks and became the youngest champion within her first year. She has won the title back 3 times, usually from powerhouse Sarah Falcon who she has a long time fued with.
